Because, I mentioned that before, she and Con have history!! And she doesn't even mention that during their hook up. So where is your freaking backbone when he touches her? Non-existent.īut hey, that's not the only thing that riled me up. I mean, she went there to watch a freaking movie - at least, that's what she tells herself, that's what she tells us. In fact, I loved that.īut just as it happens in sooo many other novels, she tells us, she tells herself she doesn't really like him but then she just lets him get her off and then they even go further and I was just shocked. I mean, seriously, this girl? Conway is her deceased BF's boyfriend!!! And I get that she doesn't like him in the beginning, that she pushes him away. In fact, it was really the book I liked the least in the series. In my opinion (and when I look at the great ratings on goodreads, I don't share that opinion with a lot of people), this novel just could not live up to my expectations. It's always super hard to read (and write) a story about a guy who falls in love with his deceased ex-gf's BF.
